About the game
Fallout 4 begins in the Commonwealth, a post-nuclear region where the Sole Survivor searches for a missing child. Quests lead through settlements, ruined cities and faction conflicts that influence the shape of the wasteland.
Exploration brings scavenged equipment, companions and opportunities to build or defend settlements. Combat mixes real-time shooting with V.A.T.S., while crafting and character perks give each playthrough a different set of tools.
